Winemaker Nicolas Audebert was in the UK in October to launch the 2008 vintage of Cheval des Andes, the joint winemaking venture of Argentina’s Terrazas de los Andes, and St Emilion’s Premier Grand Cru Classé Ch Cheval Blanc. A vertical tasting was held over lunch at Hawksmoor Piccadilly.
The 4th Annual Tasting of Croatian wines was held in October at The Westbury Hotel. The most successful event to date, the event hosted 25 wineries and some 180 members of the trade and press.
